Meditation

2/10/14 Initial objective is to put distance between awareness and thoughts / feelings / sensations.  Allow thoghts to come and go without judgement and without attaching to them.  Vary focus during meditation sessions (currently about 20 min) from thoughts to physical sensations (warm hands, ache in back, etc) to breathing as focus waxes and wanes.  Recognize the inherent space between thoughts and the underlying awareness. As mindfulness increases, recognize gaps appearing and disappearing between thoughts.  These exercises allow connection to the spark that illuminates our being and moves closer to experiencing the vast, open potential that is basis of our nature and reality itself. Loosen the knots of "I"dentification.
